GREAT TRADITIONAL STYLE REAL CHINESE RESTAURANT —
I first dropped in Zom Hee almost thirty-five years ago picking up ten lunches to go for the gang I worked with. When working in that area I made it a point to get the take out at least once a week. The restaurant is located on Park Blvd.  just past Starkey and is recessed from the street so you could go right by it.  About a football field after Starkey in a small shopping center

It is a traditional style, a la carte, combo plates,  full service environment and the older gentlemen, aka the chef hasn't changed in years. Thats good because he is a great chef and so are his staff.  The food is hot, seasoned, delicious and reminds me of the old days.  BB= Before Buffets and stale under-quality old food.

SUGGESTION: GO to ZOM HEE  get good food, get fresh food, get treated like family, there with a group of six people and each one order a different entree.   The portions are big and everyone will get a chance to try something different. We did it and it was a blast.  Tell Kenny the Owner, Al sent you.

I hadn't been there in years many years as we had moved more north.  When I returned to Largo I walked in and  Kenny,  the son and owner greeted me and remembered my name as If I had been in there yesterday.

Most important is the food is real, great portions and value for the dollar.  Kenny’s website explains it all...and I couldn’t say it better.

And the best recommendation of all is from my best friend who is from a generation of picky food eaters and she loves the place.

Thats her plate. Like she says two days later it’s still great, she can never finish the whole thing. She calls it two meals for one and the second day at home it was just as good.

EDITOR:  I have visited ZOM HEE From 1988 to 2022 —  I have been a customer since they opened their doors and at least once or twice a month. It will remind you of the great Chinese restaurants of the past in it’s unchanged Chinese decor but the emphasis is on food here and thats right up to date.  The proof is he has a great following and a lot of take out.
they have a full liquor bar and generous great cocktails…
