A Large Crock Of Sh*T — (CNN)Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday announced the launch of a new political advocacy group, “ Advancing American Freedom,” a move designed with an eye to his political future and his efforts to help shape the conversation around the T-RUMP administration’s legacy.
The group’s stated goal is to “ Promote the pro-freedom policies of the last four years that created unprecedented prosperity at home and restored respect for America abroad, to defend those policies from liberal attacks and media distortions, and to prevent the radical Left from enacting its policy agenda that would threaten America's freedoms," according to a statement from the group.

Pence, who is widely reported to have presidential ambitions, has largely remained below the radar since leaving office in January after the last tumultuous month of the Trump administration.
He penned an op-ed for the conservative publication The Daily Signal in March decrying a sweeping, Democratic-led voting rights bill that was later passed by the House but faces an uncertain path forward in the Senate. In the op-ed, Pence expressed concern about “the integrity of the 2020 election," citing "significant" and "troubling" voting irregularities.

There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud that would have changed the outcome of the 2020 election, and Pence did not make any specific claims in his op-ed. Rather, the former vice president continued to promote the misinformation pushed by former President Donald Trump that led Trump supporters to storm the US Capitol as Pence joined the Senate to certify the election's results.
Pence is set to return to the speaking circuit with his first public appearance later this month in the early primary state of South Carolina, delivering remarks to the conservative "Palmetto Family" group at its annual gala in Columbia on April 29.
The former vice president is expected to continue paid speaking engagements going forward. Worldwide Speakers Group announced last month that Pence was available for speech bookings, where, per the group, he "plans to address leadership; policymaking; and faith, values, and service."
With speculation that Pence could mount a presidential bid in 2024, the question remains whether Trump will consider running again himself. While the specter of another Trump run would freeze the 2024 Republican presidential field, Pence advisers say he could benefit. Unlike some other potential candidates, Pence does not need to get people familiar with his name nor would he need much time to put together a political operation.
In the meantime, the creation of Advancing American Freedom will give Pence a vehicle to stay involved in the Republican political conversation as the midterm elections approach.
The Wednesday announcement of the group included a lengthy list of allies and former administration officials, including his longtime pollster and Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway, former US Ambassador to the United Nations Kelly Craft, Newt and Callista Gingrich, who served as US Ambassador to the Holy See, Trump economic adviser Larry Kudlow, former US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, former Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services Administrator Seema Verma, former Office of Management and Budget director Russ Vought, Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, actor Kirk Cameron, and others.
The statement also said that the group, which is based in Indianapolis, will target Biden-Harris policy: "Advancing American Freedom will oppose the expansion of government under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' radical Left policy agenda from Washington, D.C., into communities across the country."
It comes as top Trump aide Stephen Miller has also launched a new legal advocacy group, America First Legal, which he described in an interview with the Wall Street Journal as "a conservative answer to the ACLU."

Mr. Trump was enraged that Mr. Pence was refusing to try to overturn the election. In a series of meetings, the president had pressed relentlessly, alternately cajoling and literally browbeating him.
Finally, just before Mr. Pence headed to the Capitol to oversee the electoral vote count last Wednesday, Mr. Trump called the vice president’s residence to push one last time.

Hang Mike Pence — The blowup between the nation’s two highest elected officials then played out in dramatic fashion as the president publicly excoriated the vice president at an incendiary rally and sent agitated supporters to the Capitol where they stormed the building — some of them chanting “Hang Mike Pence.”

Constitution and maintaining that his deference to the president for nearly
four years enabled Mr. Trump’s assault on democracy in the first place.
“I’m glad he didn’t break the law, but it’s kind of hard to call somebody courageous for choosing not to help overthrow our democratic system of government,” said Representative Tom Malinowski, Democrat of New Jersey. “ He’s got to understand that the man he’s been working for and defending loyally is almost single-handedly responsible for creating a movement in this country that wants to hang Mike Pence.”
The rift between Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence has dominated their final days in office — not least because the vice president has the power under the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office with support of the cabinet. The House voted on Tuesday demanding that Mr. Pence take such action or else it would impeach Mr. Trump.
Mr. Pence sent a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi late Tuesday refusing to act. But Mr. Trump has been nervous enough about it that he finally broke five days of the cold shoulder to invite his vice president to the Oval Office on Monday night to smooth over their split. The official description of the hourlong conversation was “good”; the unofficial description was “nonsubstantive” and “stilted.”
The clash is the third time in 20 years that a departing president and vice president came to conflict in their last days. After Vice President Al Gore lost his presidential campaign in 2000, he had a bitter fight with President Bill Clinton in the Oval Office over who was to blame. Eight years later, just days before leaving office, Vice President Dick Cheney castigated President George W. Bush for refusing to pardon I. Lewis Libby Jr., the vice president’s former chief of staff, for perjury in the C.I.A. leak case.
Mr. Trump came into office with no real understanding of how his predecessors had handled relationships with their running mates. In the early days, when it became clear that there would be no organizational chart or formal decision-making process, Mr. Pence made himself a regular presence in the Oval Office, simply showing up with no agenda, often walking into a policy discussion for which he had received no briefing materials.
He arrived in the West Wing each morning, received an update about when the president was coming down from the residence and then simply stationed himself in the Oval Office for most of the day. The Pence’s Are Both Heavy-Duty Evangelicals — Vice President Pence has responded vehemently to criticism ( they are the religious bigoted types ) surrounding his wife’s decision to teach at a private school that seeks to exclude homosexual and transgender students and staff members.
Following news that Karen Pence accepted a part-time job teaching art at Immanuel Christian School in Springfield, Va., the vice president said Thursday that the negative reaction was “deeply offensive.”
“ My wife and I have been in the public eye for quite a while, we’re used to the criticism,” Pence said in an interview with Eternal Word Television Network. “ But I have to tell you, to see major news organizations attacking Christian education, is deeply offensive to us. ( Some AKA call it brain washing)

Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, Vice President Mike Pence shockingly invoked
a line from the civil rights leader’s famous “ Have a
Dream” speech to build support for President Donald Trump’s proposed deal
on the border wall. Thats would have been like asking Adolf Hitler

The comments made by Pence -- who works at the top of an
administration that promotes policies that directly contradict King’s message
-- fly directly in the face of Martin Luther King’s legacy. The shutdown

Blew It Bad On The World Stage — At the conference on Middle-East security this week, the
United States staged a big diplomatic show and tried to rally the world behind
the T-RUMP administration’s aggressive stance against Iran.
Pence blew it, he was not the one to deliver a speech
praising T-RUMP much less deliver the mails. Instead of
unifying its allies under a common cause, however, the administration only
highlighted the growing rift between the US and its Western European allies,
and clumsily overshadowed the points of agreement regarding Iran.
Altogether, more than 60 countries participated in the conference co-hosted by Poland and the US State Department. But numbers alone don’t signify a diplomatic triumph, and it's important to note key NATO allies like France and Germany sent only mid-level officials. European leaders are fuming at Trump’s sudden decision to pull US troops from Syria, leaving Russia, Iran and Turkey with a much freer hand to shape the country's future.
Stupid Move Second Tier — To make matters worse, Vice President Mike Pence, in a particularly undiplomatic flurry, lambasted European allies who have refused to follow the US lead and pull out of the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, known as JCPOA. Pence didn’t mince his words when he described Iran as the principal cause of instability in the Middle East, calling it a “ Murderous revolutionary regime” and accusing it of plotting a “ New Holocaust”. Like Pence cares, most JEWS including me who know of him see him as just another Jesus freak.
He also had sharp words for Britain, France and Germany for devising a scheme that will allow the European Union to circumvent US sanctions against Iran, which will ease the flow of food and medicine before expanding to other goods. This is an ill-advised step that will only strengthen Iran, weaken the EU and create still more distance between Europe and the US, Pence said.
Bottom Line — On the whole, the T-RUMP administration’s Warsaw extravaganza came across as the product of poor planning. What exactly was its objective? The administration ended up highlighting the growing rifts between the US and its closest allies, and ultimately walked away looking diplomatically inept.
A question now is whether the diplomatic shifts that were on display in Warsaw are here to stay. If T-RUMP had been re-elected in 2020, Europe will likely drift further from the US. If he is replaced, the relationship can be painstakingly repaired. As for the Middle East, there is a good chance the fledgling alliance can survive, regardless of whether Netanyahu wins the upcoming election. It was another world wide T-RUMP-PENCE F*ck-up.
Prominent Business Group Calls On Pence — Remove T-RUMP —
— A lobbying group for the manufacturing industry — an entity once aligned with the T-RUMP administration — urged Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday to utilize powers within the constitution to remove President Trump from office after Mr. Trump’s supporters stormed the US Capitol.
— In a lengthy statement, the National Association of Manufacturers termed the violent incursion at the Capitol complex as “mob rule” that it said was fueled by Mr. T-RUMP. “This is sedition and should be treated as such,” the group said. “The outgoing president incited violence in an attempt to retain power, and any elected leader defending him is violating their oath to the Constitution and rejecting democracy in favor of anarchy.”
— The association called on Mr. Pence to use a constitutional mechanism that provides the vice president and a majority of the cabinet — the officials who lead executive agencies —with the ability to declare that the president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.” Both the Senate and House would be required to approve such a measure by a two-thirds vote. Never happen from the chickenshit….
