He is a graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Business School and a former US Navy officer. This is good. Then he went to the dark side.  He became an Investment banker at Goldman Sachs and a Conservative documentary film maker celebrating Reagan, Sarah Palin and the Tea Party (Propaganda)

He is seen as in conflict with the traditional Republican establishment, a racist and right-wing extremist by some members of his own party and believes Trump’s priorities on taking office would be to “ Get his arms around foreign policy”.

A believer in Tax reform for the rich and raise taxes for the middle class and plans changes to the Affordable Care Act - known as Obamacare.

Just days after President Trump spoke of a “running war’’ with the media, his chief White House strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, ratcheted up the attacks, arguing that news organizations had been “humiliated” by the election outcome and repeatedly describing the media as “the opposition party” of the current administration.

“The media should be embarrassed and humiliated and keep its mouth shut and just listen for a while,” Mr. Bannon said in an interview on Wednesday.

“I want you to quote this,” Mr. Bannon added. “The media here is the opposition party. They don’t understand this country. They still do not understand why Donald J Trump is the president of the United States.”

The scathing assessment — delivered by one of Mr. Trump’s most trusted and influential advisers, in the first days of his presidency — comes at a moment of high tension between the news media and the administration, with skirmishes over the size of Mr. Trump’s inaugural crowd and the president’s false claims that millions of illegal votes by undocumented immigrants swayed the popular vote against him.

Who is really running the Whitehouse?  A cluster-f*ck of this proportion cannot be promulgated by just one man.  On the other hand T-RUMPS multiple personalities lend the possibility of who showed up for pretending to work that day.

💀 Steve Bannon does show up and writes the bylines of the T-RUMP massacre  without any conference with his peers in other departments. This is both stupid and dangerous on behalf of Herr Trump who is appearing and acting as the future Fourth Reich Fuehrer of the United States.

💀  He is the senior adviser to the president at the White House.

💀He is filling seats from his Gestapo former staff at

💀  Trump appointed him to an unprecedented seat on the Principles Committee of The National Security Council (never before given to a political adviser by any administration, Democrat or Republican).

💀  Bannon has created a counter group to the NSC in his office, called the Strategic Initiatives Group. “Bannon and his team have been increasing their public profiles on foreign policy issues in recent days,” which may be an understatement.

💀  This past week, it was Bannon, not the president, who got the cover story in Time which called him “the Second Most Powerful Man in the World.” Because of his importance in the Trump administration, there is great interest in finding out what he believes, and what motivates him.

💀   Bannon believes the financial collapse to “the financial elites and the American political class.” They took care of themselves, he tells the crowd, and let everyone else suffer, as government took over the financial industry, the auto industry and the health system.  As well as mortgage defaults.

💀  The New York Times which he calls the paper “of the liberal elite,” while he describes The New York Post as the paper of the people.

Bannon famously believes that we’re at war, that “ not only with jihadists and Islam around the world, but at home with the press—the real opposition party—and the entire American left-wing.

Bannon’s anger and concern is for the enraged middle-class, who sees “socialism for the poor and the very wealthy,” while middle-class people are “paying for their own children’s destruction.”

💀  He notes how the bankers and the people at Goldman-Sachs, where he once worked, made money on the backs of regular people, who lost their homes and saw their incomes decline.

💀 Now that he is in the White House, Bannon seeks to use the Trump presidency and administration as the vehicle to fulfill the very revolutionary goals he has sought since 2008.

Referring to the movement he is helping build as a revolution  “and this is a revolution,” Bannon emphasized  “a new center-right populist movement.”  Bannon’s version means a new nationalist, anti-immigrant movement quite different from that favored by many conservatives and centrists. That alone, he believes will produce the revolutionary outcome he seeks.

Bannon’s rivals know just how cringeworthy all that sounds, which is precisely why they leaked all this.

💀 Bannon is clearly in over his head. Virtually nothing has gone as planned for the former Breitbart head.  His affection for European right-wing parties (which are supported by the Kremlin) feeds into the ongoing Russia scandal.

💀 Bannon and Stephen Miller’s Muslim ban flopped.

💀 Bannon’s plan to take down the “administrative state” (e.g. deregulation, rolling back health care benefits) seems more like a favor to Wall Street and the very rich.

💀 Trump’s war with the media, egged on by Bannon, has proved ineffective if not disastrous. A junior NSC staffer, Ezra Cohen-Watnick, whom Bannon insisted be kept on his job over the wishes of the national security adviser, revealed Bannon’s hand in the fiasco involving House Intelligence Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.).

💀 Bannon was never prepared, temperamentally or intellectually, for a senior position in the White House. His poor judgment coupled by his explosive personality and extreme views have hurt the president, and now, himself.

💀 Trump and son Jared Kushner got kudos for kicking Bannon out of the NSC. Imagine the ovation they would get if they banished Bannon entirely from the administration. After a miserable start to his presidency, Trump could use a dramatic shift — just as President Bill Clinton benefited when he cut lose his friend since kindergarten Thomas F. “Mack” McLarty and brought in Leon Panetta as chief of staff. If after all this Trump lets Bannon carry on as he has been, Trump will look weak.

💀 Bannon foolishly made internal fights into a personal standoff, Bannon vs. Kushner. In that matchup, bet on Kushner, this would be no contest.  Boy was I wrong, after Kushner appears to be a little tainted with the Russia deal.  Bannon took advantage and pushed forth.

💀  Stephen Bannon, President Trump’s chief political strategist and, after Trump, the most powerful man in Washington, once declared proudly: “I am a Leninist.” He was talking to a New York university academic who had written extensively on communism and the former Soviet Union. “What on earth do you mean?” the professor asked him. “Lenin wanted to destroy the state and that’s my goal too,” replied Bannon. “I want to bring everything crashing down and destroy all of today’s establishment.”

💀  Trump’s lies are not the problem. It’s the millions who swallow them who really matter.  From the evidence of Trump’s extraordinary campaign and first two weeks in the White House, Bannon has an assortment of Leninist political tactics that could have come from the Bolshevik leader’s playbook.

💀  Two days after Lenin seized power in Russia almost exactly a century ago, he began an assault on the press – and his successors in the USSR did not let up for the next 70 years. In the few months between the overthrow of the tsar and Lenin taking power, a relatively free press had sprung up, almost all of it vigorously opposed to Lenin, who was written off as a dangerous demagogue.

💀  When his Bolshevik party mounted a successful coup and Lenin made himself, in effect, dictator of Russia, one of his first acts was to censor the press, which he called “a weapon no less dangerous than bombs or guns aimed at us … Why should we place it in our enemies’ hands?”
